You don't need to do the File --> Finalize Project. Just go to Share and Export Movie and then select the type of file you want. It will only save one file in the format you choose and not four different ones. See attached screen shots. One more question, after I Export them, can I delete the projects and the events?

    Thanks again. :)

PageMaker?? That must be an OOOOLD book. Get a newer one. CSS works on all platforms, so, that shouldn't matter much. It's just that IE doesn't always interpret CSS properly, and often requires workarounds.

    2005 Edition

I'm not using it - he's a Microsoft fanboy. All of his editing tutorials are done with Visual Studio.

    Blech.

I like Apple.... thats why I buy their computers. Just avoid their mobile stuff.

Apple do a lot right.. and screw up on regular occasions, just like any other company.

    Ok.

I was just showing you what "winni" was. You did ask.

    http://i.tuaw.com/2009/06/18/its-all-about-the-music-tunes-from-apples-keynote-presentatio/

I hope this post gets filed in the "I knew I wasn't the only one!" mental filing cabinets of many. Because if it doesn't, then it makes me the only one who really looks forward to the music Apple uses in its keynotes. Whether it's a song that leads up to Steve Jobs' entrance on stage, or one used in software or hardware demos, there's no denying that music is very much a part of Apple's DNA. Heck, the company's namesake reflects Steve's love for the Beatles.

Apple occasionally invites some of music's biggest names to perform at its events because, as Steve says, "it's all about the music."

And this post is all about the music. It's all about the music that Apple has used in one way, shape, or form at its keynote events. Although by no means a definitive list, it's certainly a fair sample.

Si, and I don't mind you doing it. I just don't want this thread getting steered in a different direction just in case it is relevant and useful to someone else.

DDC is a derivative of I2C and Macs have a I2C bus. The motion sensor is connected to the I2C bus, for example.

I can find a good web person or two to do the work for me, incase they are end up being friends willing to do it cheap, how much would the work normally cost (avg type work) so I can pay them what they deserve?

Difficult question to answer, as it depends on several factors: their level and area of expertise, the area you live in, and how complicated the site is.

I've seen trends going towards "packages" for initial setup of a site then a maintenance fee afterwards, and some people still stick with a flat rate per hour. Personally, most of the time I charge $30/hour, but that's the same rate I've been charging since 1998, and even then it was about half the going rate in that area. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you what the going rate is now (it could have crashed with the dotcom bubble burst, for all I know)... People still seem to be willing to pay the $30/hr though.

Why does the BB software require rebooting the darn thing? I tried installing without rebooting but it won't work. Can't say i didn't see this coming. I won't be rebooting until the next OS X update, guess my BB can wait till then.

Uhm... You should reboot every couple days anyway... are you serious? If you are this is such fail.

This means that it could be or it couldn't be. I find no reason for writing this post and anyone out there who thinks I make no sense-just tell me to stop.

What kind of "exclusive deal"? And BTW, wouldn't that loss of $200k a month have also have a substantial negative impact for Costco then for Apple? If that number is true we are talking about $100 000 000 per month in declined sales.
IIRC it wasn't an exclusive deal it was just that, for whatever reason, Apple shipped iPads to Sam's Club, Walmart and Target but not to Costco. The impact to Costco's bottom line really depends on the profit margins they were making on the iPods and how much extra foot traffic they were brining in.

You must get sick a lot since your body has no germs to practice on. Washing your hands in a public restroom is almost completely negated the moment you touch the door handle to leave...but good luck with your sterile lifestyle.

Mmmmm, no, you use the paper towel to open the door, and discard it afterwards. :)

Or you hit the power door, with your elbow. ;)

I bought a docking station for my ipod 3G, a Zenex ZN-DS5007. Everything works EXCEPT charging. It does not support the ipod 3G for charging. Since then, as I search for a replacement, I'm finding that few support the 3G. Can anyone advise me on a good quality docking-charging unit that supports charging the ipod 3G? I want good sound, don't care about radio or clock. I would prefer one that will run on batteries and AC. How much will I need to spend to get a good one? Thanks in advance.
