Ok...so I think this is my final setup. I feel like maybe there is too much redundancy (like, can't I get rid of Disk 2 all together since Disk 6 and 7 already are clones?). But maybe there is no such thing as too much? These drives have the last 5+ years of work on them...if the disks went bad, or were stolen/fire/etc...we would be royally screwed.
Disk 6 and Disk 7 would be rotated off-site.

wow, I really like what I see so far, though it doesn't play smoothly, the frames are slow. Is that because it is incomplete or could that be a quicktime problem?

Not only are they expensive, but people have only just upgraded to a 'normal' HDTV and won't be looking to replace that any time soon. 3D isn't going to be a big thing for Nintendo until they bundle the console and display together (like the 3DS), but that's impractical for a console.

i have a 5th generation nano and the most recent version of itunes. i just downloaded a bunch of songs that play fine in my itunes library but when i try to listen to them on my ipod, it immediately skips to another song. only a few of the songs that i synched actually play. i have tried deleting them from my ipod and my itunes library and then adding them back to the library and resynching but i am still having this problem. can anyone tell me what is wrong and what i can do to fix this? thanks for the help. I talked to the woman at MTSU who takes care of the Apple stuff today and she said they will be selling it for $69, but they will not be there until Monday. They are only getting 15 copies and you cannot pre-order.
Thinking about going to the Apple store and buying it anyways--I really want the t-shirt! :p Wife says I should wait until Monday!

Can you no longer do volume increments of a quarter-bar in Lion? In Snow Leopard it was alt+shift+volume up/down, but that no longer works in Lion. I liked having precise control of the volume :(

Since the release of the DP of Mac OS X Lion I have been dual-booting my late 2008 MacBook.
I was wondering wether there was a way to make my MacBook always boot in disk selection mode, as if I was holding down the opt-key (=alt-key).
This would be easier since I dual-boot for a long time, safer, because this way my Mac asks me my firmware password, and faster, because I could turn on auto-login, going straight to my desktop (since I have given my firmware-password anyway).
I read about always booting in verbose mode by putting "-v" as boot-args in my pram, so I thought there would be a way of doing the same for the disk selection mode...

FWIW, I have the same problem with one of my Wiimotes and Spongebob CFTKK (Yeah, I know, but the kidlets enjoy the game). Unplug and replug the nunchuck and it works just fine. :confused:

Firefox doesn't obey the system-wide settings. Safari should.
There used to be setting in about:config in Firefox, but it seems to be un-implemented and no longer there in Firefox 3.6.xx

If you've paid by credit card call your card company. Often they'll hold payment on your behalf, and it's amazing how much clout they have with companies.
If you're RAC and 90% of your customers (happy or otherwise) pay by CC you can't afford to piss VISA off. At the moment the RAC owe you say �200 while the RAC are owed ~�200,000 by VISA on behalf of people like you, who's got more power to resolve this issue?
I once spoke to a chap I know who was in huge debt and asked how he slept a night. He said if you owe a Bank �100 you're screwed, they won't try to help you, but if you owe them �100,000 they're screwed and will bend over backward to help.
He who holds the purse strings holds the power.

Do they make that offer only at the Apple retail store or can you also get it from ordering online at Apple.com?
